(Frequently Asked Questions)

  • How do I report an error with one of the bus timetables?

If you spot an error with any information on this site, please let us know via our contact form and we will do our best to correct it. Although every care is taken to ensure the information on this site is 100% accurate, we ultimately rely on other organisations and companies for the source of our data and mistakes in re-writing the information can sometimes happen.

We apologise in advance if any inconvenience has been caused.

We do recommend that all journeys should be checked using either Traveline or Transport direct. See our journey planning page for more details.

  • Why does the search show so many results?

The search box at the top right of the site scans all pages, documents and images.

If you were to enter the number 1 and click search, for example, this number may well appear in the filename, or the date, as well as the bus service number.

The best way to stop that happening is to be more specific, i.e. “timetable 1″, always returns the correct result, but even this will show timetable 11, timetable 125 etc. (Remember to include the quotation marks for exact searches).

Another tip for searching is to use two words, for example “Redditch Bromsgrove” will return results that only contain Redditch and Bromsgrove. (Quotation marks are not required for this type of search).

  • Why are the links on the left so small?

This will only apply to people using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). You are basically using an out of date browser and whilst the rest of the site is fully compatible with all browsers, IE6 fails to display the links at their full size. It really is time to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 or 9, or use other free browsers such as Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

In our opinion, Firefox and Chrome are the best internet browsers to use.

  • Why does your journey planner only accept postcodes?

The built in journey planner on our journey planning page is directly linked to the Transport Direct website. Postcode entries are the only method currently available for external websites to link to them.

Please visit the Transport Direct website to see all of the features of their journey planner or use the Traveline website instead.

  • Why does your site still show withdrawn services?

All of our bus timetable pages are cached by search engines (e.g. Google) so that they can be displayed in search results. Withdrawn services are left on for approximately 3 months to ensure that search engines have had time to archive the page after the service has been withdrawn.

In all instances, withdrawn services will be clearly marked to avoid confusion.

  • Who do I complain to about a poor quality bus service?

For bus services that are operated commercially, all complaints should go to the bus operator concerned. Addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses for all Worcestershire bus operators can be found on our bus operators page.

For bus services that are subsidised by a local authority, in our case Worcestershire County Council, all complaints regarding poor quality bus services can be forwarded to them at:

Worcestershire County Council
